This is a very well made mower, however the rear bagging and grass chute area is an engineering nightmare. I was covered in grass clippings. The bag is great because it is easy to empty due to the large opening.

The machine itself is very sturdy and starts easily. The two blades do a very good job of cutting the grass and feeding into the bag. Another problem is that when the bag is removed to empty, you must clean out the grass in the tracts before installing the bag again. Also, I felt that the self propelled did not pull as well as my old Troy Bilt mower.

The Honda mower came out of the box ready to mow. Since I will not mow for awhile (it is still Feb), I did not add the supplied oil, nor did i add gas.

The packers did cram the grass bag into the top of the mower, and made it hard to get it free from the mower. Wish you had military discounts. One of the best I've used. It comes pre-assembled in the box. Just add oil (included) and gas and you're ready to go.

Started on the first pull. The thumb throttle for the self-propelled took a minute or two to get used to but once I got used to it, it became very intuitive.

Even though it has a steel deck it is well weighted and easy to maneuver. I have used the commercial variant of this mower and would easily choose this one due to increased maneuverability. My only complaint is that it is only on with blades running. It does not have the option of disengaging the blades and using self propel. So if you needed to move this down a street it would not be a good match but for home use it is a minor inconvenience.

Overall I would highly recommend! The engine an all is great. The bagger needs new design it will not stay on the mower one side keeps coming off allowing grass to blow all over the operator not good.
