Lawn Boy Brick Top Automower Self Propelled Mower, Built in 1964, Rebuilt

  

Lawn Boy "Automower" Brick Top Self Propelled Mower, Rebuilt.. This mower was rebuilt by the local Lawn Boy dealer in 2016, and was never used. The capstan rollers, and steel wheels were also replaced with new old stock Lawn Boy parts, at the time of the rebuild. There was one small crack in the deck, that was repaired at the same time (see photo). This mower runs great, and the self propelled system works fine as well.

There is a Lawn Boy mulch plate installed, however the original "block off plate" is included with the sale of the mower. This mower was built in 1964, and was the top of the line Lawn Boy Mower of the 1960's.

This is a rare example of an early Self Propelled Brick Top Lawn Boy "Automower", and is hard to find. Don't let it slip by, as you may never find another one in this condition.
