It has just been refurbished - The engine has been rebuilt new rings were installed, the crankcase was re-sealed, and new crank oil seals were installed. The carburetor was rebuilt and the drive & wheels were greased.

This is a great vintage Lawn Boy - it has the extra durable "F" series commercial engine with the oversized remote fuel tank and metal carburetor. It also has an aluminum deck, ball-bearing wheels, and a variable self-propelled system. I had never used this style before, but the self propelled actually works out really well. I much prefer it to the older capstan drive style; it is very much like the "personal pace" system in operation. The handlebars pivot in the middle; which engages the drive accordingly. This particular model starts up on the first pull, idles smoothly, and runs great. The paint has had some touchup and looks good, and it includes a rear bag that is in good overall condition. The ball-bearing wheels rolls smoothly with no wobbling and have good tread. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
